Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Sr Program Manager, Tech Strategy, is to act as the strategic, data-driven program manager for key cross-company consumer-facing and/or internal initiatives across NBCUniversal's brands and businesses, with a focus on ad sales, legal, and data product initiatives.
Your mission is to partner with key business, product development, and engineering teams to support the ongoing innovation and delivery of our content supply chain. You will interact with a diverse set of technical and non-technical partners, including senior management.
The ideal candidate has exemplary planning and time management skills, strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities, and the ability to effectively connect and align diverse stakeholders. They are both proactive and responsive, adept at identifying risks and dependencies, and skilled in developing solutions under tight deadlines. We seek program professionals excited about delivering central solutions of high strategic and economic value that enrich internal and external user bases in the consumer data space. This individual will bring a passionate, consensus-driven approach to problem-solving and collaborative teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Program Planning and Strategy:
- Develop program plans, objectives, and strategies aligned with the organization's vision and goals.
- Identify key milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements to meet project objectives.
- Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure program success.
Program Execution and Management:
- Oversee the execution of multiple projects within the program, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively implement corrective actions.
- Lead cross-functional teams, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve project milestones.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, executives, and team members to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
- Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and handle conflicts or challenges during the program lifecycle.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success.
- Develop risk mitigation plans and contingency strategies to minimize disruptions.
Resource Management:
- Optimize resource allocation across projects to ensure efficient use of manpower, technology, and budget.
- Work with resource managers to address any resource constraints and ensure adequate support for projects.
Quality Assurance:
- Maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular project reviews and quality checks to ensure deliverables meet established criteria.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present program status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and other relevant records.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess program management processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement best practices and industry standards to enhance program effectiveness.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management) preferred. A master's degree is a plus but not required.
- 8+ years of program management experience, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-project programs from initiation to completion
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- In-depth knowledge of program management methodologies and best practices.
- Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience with consumer products, data, and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with AI and data privacy concepts.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other project tracking tools.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to build business relationships and influence executive stakeholders through verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee's residence.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
