Job Summary

Internet connectivity is a rapidly evolving and hyper competitive space. The Internet Product Management team aims to consistently innovate and enhance Comcast’s internet connectivity products, fostering a positive customer experience and driving business growth. This Sr. Manager role will help create, launch, and manage internet products and will have great exposure and visibility as this is core to our company’s overall objectives. This individual will think strategically and have a direct impact on shaping the company’s internet product roadmap. The primary scope of responsibility is supporting the full product lifecycle of new connectivity products from strategy through go-to-market launch and beyond. This individual will work cross-functionally to develop winning customer propositions and then help partner with stakeholders to bring these innovative products to life. Among other duties, this individual will help conduct customer research, strategic business cases, competitive analysis, technology assessments, pricing & packaging evaluations, operational plans and more. Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as a true Product Manager, driving strategy development and excellence in operational execution for Internet Services to maximize business outcomes and the customer experience
  • Oversee customer research and competitive analysis to obtain product insights; translate them into actionable recommendations, and partner with cross functional teams to drive consensus for and delivery of recommendations
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to determine the product go-to-market strategy, utilizing excellent strong analytical skills
  • Drive the definition & delivery of customer value propositions by synthesizing customer needs with internal capabilities
  • Assess technical and operational feasibility; drive development of and decision-making for setting business requirements for our key stakeholders and development partners and drive on time and within budget delivery of requirements
  • Foster relationships and serve as a subject matter expert to cross-functional partners across Technology, Customer Experience, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Sales, and others
  • Participate in product modification, cost reduction, margin analysis, advertising and promotion, forecasting, product positioning and pricing strategies.
  • Be accountable for profit and loss or budgetary management for assigned products.
  • Be curious, seek out new knowledge, embracing growth and improvement
  • Develop, mentor and train direct report(s) to ensure department work performance and objectives are met.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Background in consulting, product management, business development, finance, or corporate strategy
  • Customer-obsession; prior roles with a focus on creating, defining, & advocating for customer value
  • Natural collaborator, with excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative background, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Quick learner, comfortable with nascent technologies and emerging strategies
  • Fluent in MS Office including Word, Excel and strong PowerPoint/Keynote experience
