We are looking for a Senior Manager, Finance, for our Resins Operations. The role encompasses all manufacturing for our market-leading Chromatography Resins business unit, spanning manufacturing sites in Uppsala (Sweden), Copenhagen (Denmark) and Muskegon (Michigan, USA).

This position is based in Uppsala and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Managing a team of finance professionals across all sites, providing guidance, coaching and career progression.
  • Being a member of the Resins Operations management team, providing insights and direction to the manufacturing team to improve the performance of our operations.
  • Leading financial cycles, including monthly reporting, monthly forecasting and annual budgeting, driving financial rigor across income statement, balance sheet and cash flow projections.
  • Supporting capital allocation decisions including capital investments.
  • Supporting working capital optimization projects, primarily around inventory management.
  • Owning cost accounting processes, such as manufacturing absorptions, cost standard setting and labour costs.
  • Measuring and driving productivity projects to improve the cost position of our products in the market.
  • Driving a culture of high accountability in operations across the organization, including plant and section managers.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bsc. or Msc. in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
  • Multiple years of relevant work experience in developing forecasts, operating plans and leading business and finance reviews in industrial companies in business partnering roles.
  • Experience from manufacturing finance and understand concepts such as cost accounting, inventory, productivity, PPV, MDV, etc.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, Onestream, Qlik, etc.).
  • Proficient in English and Swedish with excellent communication skills.
