The role, in a nutshell:
As the Field Marketing Manager for Central Europe (DACH & Benelux Region), you will play a key role in Chainguard’s EMEA marketing team to driving demand in your region. You will be responsible for developing and executing regional marketing plans to generate pipeline, accelerate the sales cycle, and strengthen customer relationships across this growing region.
We are looking for candidates based in Germany, ideally in the Berlin region, and support a remote work model in this location. Fluency in both German and English is required.
As we expand our EMEA Marketing team, this role will have a strong focus on building and scaling marketing efforts, with the opportunity to grow into a leadership position as the region continues to expand.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop Regional Field Marketing Plans – Create and execute quarterly marketing plans that align with regional sales and pipeline goals.
- Execute Regional Marketing Programs – Drive demand generation initiatives, including Chainguard-hosted events, industry conferences, partner events, digital programs & global campaigns.
- Lead Strategic Initiatives – Plan and implement targeted marketing programs to engage key strategic accounts in your region.
- Support Pan-EMEA Marketing Programs – Contribute to broader EMEA marketing initiatives and events to ensure regional alignment.
- Collaborate with Sales Teams – Act as the primary marketing contact for regional sales leaders, BDRs, and partners, ensuring alignment on all marketing activities and GTM strategy.
- Drive Partner Co-Marketing Efforts – Develop and execute joint marketing plans with key regional partners.
Qualifications:
✔️ 7+ years of experience in field marketing/demand generation, with a track record of working with field teams and building successful regional marketing plans.
✔️ Expertise in regional marketing strategy – Proven experience planning and executing a mix of field events and programs tailored to regional market dynamics.
✔️ Strong partnership mindset – Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships that align marketing efforts with business goals.
✔️ Analytical skills – Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, using metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
✔️ Excellent communication & leadership – Strong ability to collaborate, influence, and drive alignment across teams.
✔️ Willingness to travel – Must be able to travel 20-25% per quarter for events
