The pay range is $89,700.00 - $161,500.00

As the Sr. Manager, Capital Markets, you will provide financial expertise to influence and support decision-making at Target. You will act as a thought partner providing strategic perspectives and supporting management’s planning and funding processes. This includes analyzing and making recommendations on a variety of capital structure projects, liability management initiatives, financing and hedging opportunities, and other strategic initiatives. It also includes interpreting financial performance to identify business risks and opportunities.
You will investigate the potential impacts of strategic business initiatives and capital structure transactions. You’ll also provide analysis and recommendations in areas such as share repurchase, cost of capital, fixed/floating exposures (i.e., interest rates, foreign exchange, commodities), derivatives, credit exposures, etc. You will create financial models and/or analysis to facilitate debt repurchase and evaluate alternative financing structures. You’ll coordinate cross-functional reviews and support new and on-going treasury-related programs and initiatives (i.e., international trade payment programs, supply chain finance, cash conversion cycle, standby LOC program). You’ll partner with internal clients to review contracts with financing components to identify alternatives and mitigate risks. You’ll focus on developing process improvements using strategic problem-solving skills. You’ll do all this while also building influential working relationships with internal and external business partners.

About you:
- Four-year degree (Preferably: Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance) or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years finance and/or business experience
- Strong analytical, decision-making, project management, planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building aptitude, with team-oriented focus
- Credible thought leader; strong strategic and leadership skills
- Capital Markets experience, specifically in banking, retail, or other corporate setting preferred
- MBA preferred
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
