ABOUT THE ROLE
The Tier 2 Payroll Sr. Associate is part of the HR Delivery Center and play a key role in the payroll of the region and is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of payroll, ensuring timely processing and compliance to standard payroll processes of assigned account/s. S/he will perform inquiry management/resolution, transaction processing and general customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process payroll end-to-end process (including multiple pay cycles)

Ensure payroll processes for new hires, terminations, salary changes, compensation and benefit payouts are executed promptly, accurately and in compliance with country statutory regulations and company policies.

Ensure data from Workday and non-Workday data is collated and transferred to the Local Country Payroll Vendor (LCPV)

Review, validate and reconcile payroll input/output files to/from service providers to ensure accuracy prior to and after processing.

Define and implement all payroll controls.

Support regulatory audits and government requirements in person (IMSS, SAT, INFONAVIT, etc.)

Assist in the compilation and update of related payroll tools e.g., Country payroll manuals, wage type catalogues, process flows and payroll calendars.

Support payroll software updates to ensure that the system is updated as per legal and statutory requirements.

Ensure to address employees’ concerns and queries in a timely manner.

Drive and sustain cross country process improvement.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Knowledge of Mexico payroll processes and procedures.

Strong analytical skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and operate efficiently under continuous change

Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel)

Strong drive for results, accuracy and control compliance

Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or related discipline with a minimum 3 - 5 year payroll experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

Language: English advanced

Ideally having worked with multiple technologies (e.g. HRIS System, Workday, SAP)

Familiarity with benefits administration (e.g., flex contributions, health insurance deductions) and associated compliance.
