The Position
Site Planner is responsible for production planning, and site supply escalation management. Planner is also responsible for performing analytics data collection and conclusions to drive supply and system operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage the monthly production plan and schedule.
- Perform inventory analysis and provide input on potential discard and availability of materials to support production planning and optimize operational costs/efficiencies.
- Interact with internal and external customers to ensure timely execution of production plans and meet customer service and satisfaction goals.
- Execute fulfillment planning align with the global planning calendar. Interacts with CoE (Center of Excellence) or SME as required for production planning issues.
- Monitor and ensure timely reporting on Key Performance Indicator (i.e., customer service level, capacity, runtime accuracy, plan adherence etc.).
- Address, escalate and managing demand and supply change to communicate with stake holder impacted.
- Create and monitor profit plan targets on a yearly basis.
- Perform demand and supply analysis to implement solution for continues supply.
- Monitor and maintain production and warehouse capacity.
- Serve as a backup for the Scheduler.
- Provides data to identify and facilitate Continuous Improvement opportunities. Support regular team communication and provide continuous feedback.
- Maintain up-to-date technical skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with site safety and quality requirements, as well as specific compliance policies and standards in daily work.
- Demonstrate quality leadership behavior, promote a quality culture, and proactively supports cGMP compliance.
- Promote the site SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) culture, including the interdependency safety culture.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business studies, economics, or industrial engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience, including 2 years in production planning and material management.
- Developing professional skillset through routine work assignments.
- Effective communication skills: conveys information, asks questions, and checks for understanding.
- Accountable for technical contributions to project team or sub-team.
- Adheres to established procedures, technologies, and methodologies.
- Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Knowledge of supply chain risk and compliance.
- Innovative thinking in delivering supply chain metrics and improvements.
- Willingness to grow and stay updated with information systems in supply chain.
- Understanding of sales and operation planning.
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain professional networks.
- Familiarity with RCCP, CRP, and PAC.
- Having knowledge of Continues Improvement for Planning optimization and inventory management processes.
- Experience with S4HANA & IBP or at least understanding of the SAP PP module.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas such as pivot tables and lookups.
