DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build solutions or break down technical problems. Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems. Develop and modify ServiceNow workflows, forms, lists, business rules, script includes, UI components, fix scripts, schedule jobs, inbound and outbound API integrations (REST). Design, code, test, and deliver software leveraging firm-wide frameworks and best practices for the ServiceNow platform. Leverage ServiceNow codeless technologies - Flow Designer and Integration Hub. Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Create and maintain ServiceNow Service Portal, Custom widgets, Record Producers and Automations across the ServiceNow platform. Identify business problems, opportunities that product line can resolve and transform. Provide solutions that favor ServiceNow out-of-box functionality vs. customization by following best practices and architectural standards. Develop secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others. Deliver ServiceNow System designs, application development, testing, and operational stability. Develop, debug, and maintain code in a large corporate environment with multiple modern programming languages and database querying language.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Engineering or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Servicenow Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Linux; Unix; Windows; Agile SDLC; Waterfall SDLC; Hybrid SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Data Architecture Disciplines; Infrastructure Architecture Disciplines; CSS; HTML; Java; Javascript; Selenium; Shell Scripting; REST; SOAP; JSON; AWS Cloud Services; Automated Testing; Functional Testing; Manual Testing; Performance Testing; Regression Testing; Smoke Testing; System Integration Testing; Unit Testing; and User Acceptance Testing.
Job Location: 880 Powder Mill Rd., Wilmington, DE 19803. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
