What you’ll be doing:
A Software Engineer plays a pivotal role in spearheading the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated software solutions. With expertise in diverse programming languages and a track record of problem-solving prowess, they lead teams, drive technical decisions, and contribute significantly to the innovation and success of complex projects.

Software Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable software solutions, providing technical guidance to the engineering team while collaborating across departments to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Technical Leadership: Lead the design and development efforts, providing technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Problem Solving and Innovation: Proactively troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimizing application performance, scalability, and propose innovative solutions by researching and evaluating new technologies to enhance development processes

Mentorship and Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers, fostering their growth and development within the team.

Architectural Contributions: Drive architectural decisions, shape the technical roadmap for the product or platform, and ensure alignment with the company's overarching technical strategy and long-term objectives.

Requirements:

0-3+ years of software development experience in any industry/vertical
-
Our stack mainly uses TypeScript and Java, but we are okay with expertise in leveraging any language to architect and implement innovative solutions

Demonstrated versatility by effectively contributing across the stack to meet product needs

Experience utilizing a tech stack comprising NodeJS, React, Postgres, Redshift, Redis, Java, AWS Batch, AWS S3, and AWS Lambda

Ability to leverage AWS services for scalable architecture, including Batch, S3, and Lambda, to optimize performance and reliability of applications

Compensation:
The annual base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently $140,000 - $170,000 plus performance bonus of up to 20%. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. We will provide more information on our benefits and equity upon requests. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted up to or over 100% of the offered base salary (no cap).
