Job Description
Software Development Engineer II
Job Responsibilities:
• Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for enhancements and new products.
• Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based and Internet-related tools.
• Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.
• Understands internal and external customers' requirements and is able to articulate solutions.
• Defines, designs, and documents technical specifications.
• Concept design, specification, programming, testing, debugging, build release, deployment and documentation.
• Delivers high-quality results on time, and provides updates to management.
• Creates and maintains design documentation and customer documentation (e.g. SW requirement documents, release notes, user guides and help files).
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- Two years of more of related professional experience.
Physical Demands and Work Conditions:
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard
