We are looking for a Site Engineer to join Installation Department in Milan HQ.

  • Act as focal point with Customer and third parties for supervising pre-lay activities related to the power cable system.
  • Interface between Customer, Civil works contractors, and Cable laying subcontractors for planning activities, checking civil works execution, and infrastructure.
  • Supervise laying operations performed by subcontractors.
  • Maintain a record diary of on-site activities, managing subcontractor execution per the plan and contract requirements.
  • Supervise backfilling operations by third-party companies regarding timing, quality, and cable protection.
  • Oversee site supervision, including personnel, assets, technical aspects, logistics, and HSE management.
  • Enforce site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
  • Ensure compliance with internal rules and procedures throughout the process.
  • Support preparation of method statements and other necessary documentation for on-site work in cooperation with and under the supervision of Installation Engineering.

You are the right fit if you have/are: 

  • Fluent in English and Italian.
  • Degree in Engineering.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in a construction site context.
  • Availability to spend long periods abroad on site (approx. 60-70% per year).
  • Driving license.
  • Leadership attitude.
  • Good communication skills and relationship approach with Clients and subcontractors.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, target orientation, with attitude to manage properly priorities in coordination with Management.
  • Attitude to fast learning and self-commitment.
  • Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset.
