Position Overview
EpicMetry is looking for a talented Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in building and customizing Shopify stores, implementing features, and integrating third-party applications. You will be responsible for translating client requirements into Shopify themes and ensuring high-quality user experiences. Your knowledge of Liquid templating language and Shopify APIs will be essential in creating efficient and scalable e-commerce solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Shopify themes based on client specifications.
- Implement and configure Shopify apps to enhance functionalities.
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes into responsive Shopify storefronts.
- Optimize e-commerce websites for maximum speed and usability.
- Ensure seamless integrations with third-party platforms and APIs.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code.
- Stay updated with the latest Shopify features and best practices to continuously improve development processes.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on Shopify platform functionality.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Liquid templating language, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Shopify's API and third-party app integrations.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of responsive web design principles and SEO best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaborative abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
