Job Description
As a Web Developer, you will join the Ubisoft Data Office (UDO) team in Paris, which is part of Ubisoft IT. Specifically, you will be part of a team within the Brand domain, whose role is to create data solutions for the future to deepen and share knowledge of the video game market, our consumers, and their expectations.
The strategic vision of this team focuses on sharing our data visually through technology that goes far beyond simple reporting tools.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with product managers, other web developers, and UDO teams to design, deploy, and maintain web interfaces for content visualization (data, studies, tools).
- Iteratively improve products, with a focus on quality, including technical performance.
- Implement robust and secure APIs for data management and interaction with backend services.
- Participate in architecture definition, establishing development standards and workflows with the support of the Brand and UDO domains.
- Engage in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure quality in feature development.
- Work on continuous deployment solutions to ensure the availability and scalability of the application.
- Respond effectively to changing requirements or designs.
- Propose innovative approaches to data visualization to facilitate analysis and decision-making.
- Contribute to technology monitoring: best practices, languages, tools, and processes.
Qualifications
- rofessional experience as a Web Developer, having led complex projects from end to end and/or managed high-traffic solutions.
- Experience with backend languages and frameworks (PHP Symfony, Python Django preferred).
- Proficiency in front-end web programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like Vue, React, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with functional teams.
Additional skills appreciated:
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Skills in data visualization (D3.js, Chart.js, or similar).
- Good understanding of UI/UX design principles and ability to work with designers.
- Mastery of version control tools (Git) and Agile development methodology.
