About the role

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Artist to help shape the player experience for our mid-core mobile games. This role requires a balance of user-centered design principles and artistic expertise, ensuring that our UI elements are both visually compelling and highly functional. You’ll work closely with game designers, developers, and fellow artists to create intuitive user flows and seamless interfaces that enhance the player experience.

  • Design and implement high-quality user interface elements, such as menus, icons, UI illustrations and buttons, for mid-core video games.
  • Create UX flows that transform design specs into innovative experiences.
    • Work closely with the design team to clearly understand and convey the objectives of features and systems.
    • Incorporate best practices from top grossing mobile games and invent new solutions when necessary.
    • Share progress frequently and incorporate feedback.
  • Develop UI concepts and prototypes, and iterate on them based on feedback from the design and development teams.
  • Ensure that the user interface is optimized for various screen sizes and resolutions, and is accessible for players with different abilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video game UX and UI design.
  • Collaborate with other artists and designers to ensure that the game's overall visual style is consistent.
  • Demonstrates feature ownership, able to manage entire UX and UI features from concept to completion.
  • Participate in innovation in both UX/UI design, implementation and the technology/tools.

  • Transform paper designs and design specs into delightful user experiences.

What you’ll need to be successful 

  • 5+ years of experience in mobile UX and UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Flexibility to handle UX design, UI creation and implementation in Unity at a ready-to-ship level of fidelity.
  • Extensive experience with industry-standard design tools, such as Miro,  Adobe Photoshop, Unity, Illustrator, Figma and After Effect.
  • Deep understanding and skills in graphic design (or the equivalent) specialized in the creation of interfaces and in menu design.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and experience designing for a wide range of platforms and devices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Passion for video games and a deep understanding of the gaming industry and development pipelines..
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
