The responsibilities and key activities that the Non-KONE Equipment Technical Support Specialist is either accountable for, or responsible to execute.

  • Collect, create, and maintain material technical data for the chosen competitor product in relevant KONE tools
  • Develop spare part offering and documentation (AR, PIP) for the chosen competitor product platform
  • Provide material technical support of competitor products spare parts for frontline and global projects
  • Provide support for competitor equipment material technical issues (SEB Issue tool)
  • Create new alternate equivalent solutions (fit kits, Noctua, service repair packages)
  • Work closely with Procurement team to source the required competitor spare parts.
  • Work closely with CHN FL to define the process and plans.
  • Provide material technical support for competitor equipment nonconformities (info letter)
  • Any other task given by manager

  • Response time and closure time of issues
  • Number AR documents, Spare articles (SKU)
  • Quality targets e.g. Spare part data accuracy in related system (PDM, SAP, PIP)

Professional requirements

  • Technical experience with global competitor products (minimum 3 years)
  • Proven spares project implementation and change management experience (minimum 3 years)
  • Bachelor’s degree or other relevant experience
  • Fluent in English, other languages are an asset
  • IT literacy
  • Willing to travel

Entry-level requirements

  • Basic English skills
  • Technical understanding of elevators/escalators/doors spare parts where applicable, both KONE and non-KONE
