We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Sam's Club 

 

We are looking for an iOS Senior software engineer to join our team who is self-motivated with strong knowledge of software fundamentals and excited to solve complex problems. 

  

What you'll do:

  • Design and implement core features in the shopping funnel of Sam’s Club iOS application. 

  • Work closely with product and design teams to optimize the experience for iOS platform. 

  • Understand complex architecture and add any enhancements to the existing solutions. 

  • Write unit tests and improve code coverage for unit tests. 

  • Experiment with new technologies and features and build quick prototypes. 

  • Participate in managing code & configurations for multiple environments, release management process, creating and maintaining environment configuration and controls, code integrity and work closely with platform team 

  • Analyzing business requirements, developing UI/UX, supporting QA and similar steps of the scrum process, working in an agile development environment with a quick turnaround time and iterative builds. 

  • Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design 

  • Troubleshoots business and production issues 

  • Ensures inclusion of business vision and industry trends to enable results that drive business 

  • Problem solving and troubleshooting design and development issues and provide appropriate solutions 

  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams. 

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the junior engineers. 

  

What you'll bring: 

  • Good proficiency in Swift and iOS application architecture. 

  • Solid understanding of iOS UI framework, design principles, patterns and best practices. 

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders alike 

  • A desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment 

  • Knowledge on supporting tools like Figma, Charles, Postman. 

  • Knowledge of Design patterns and SOLID principles is a plus.  

  • Experience in retail industry is a plus

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
