About the Role

Evisort (now part of Workday) is seeking a Sr. Front End (or Full Stack) Software Engineer to join one of our cross-functional, dynamic, diverse, and fun engineering squads on a mission to build the best-in-class, next-generation, AI/ML-powered, legal contract intelligence platform. This role has high visibility and high impact, and ideal candidates are used to collaborating across teams, including but not limited to development, product, design, and customer success.

What you'll do:

• Own new and existing UI features in our React application, from technical design to release, from inception to production

• Own the developer experience of Frontend development via continuous improvements to our UI infrastructure and tooling.

• Own the frontend build pipeline and make it more robust and efficient

• Write high-quality, easy-to-maintain-and-extend code with plenty of tests and built-in observability

• Work as part of an Agile team in a collaborative environment where you regularly plan, and implement tasks to scale and expand our rapidly growing enterprise-grade SaaS product

• Have a major impact on the professional growth and productivity levels of your teammates through design and code reviews, technical guidance, and mentoring

About You

Basic Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in front-end software development with a demonstrated commitment to delivering an exceptional user experience.

• 5+ years of experience with Javascript and/or Typescript.

• 3+ years of experience with React + Redux. 

• 3+ years of experience with HTML + CSS. 

Other Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in backend development (any programming language).

• Excellent knowledge of software engineering best practices and agile development processes

• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written

• 3+ years of experience using testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library to ensure code quality.

• 1+ years of experience using frontend build tools like Webpack, Parcel, or Rollup for bundling and optimizing code.

• 1+ years of experience with backend development experience with Python (Flask/FastAPI/Django, PostgreSQL on AWS)

• 1+ years of experience with CI/CD and Github Actions

• Experience with web UI accessibility (a11y) and/or UI performance optimization is a plus

• Experience with data visualization and rich online editors is a plus

Workday Pay Transparency Statement 

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
