Senior Software Engineer (AI/Automations)

Are you passionate about building internal tools, leveraging AI, and automating processes to enhance efficiency? We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Automations team and drive the development of scalable solutions that streamline internal operations across hiring, development, customer support and beyond.

As part of this team, you will work on designing and implementing systems that enable seamless workflow automation, intelligent decision-making, and internal process optimizations. Your work will empower teams across StashAway, improving productivity and reducing manual effort through innovative technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal automation tools that improve operational efficiency across different teams.
• Design and implement scalable systems that enable workflow design and automation and process optimizations.
• Leverage AI and machine learning to enhance decision-making and automate complex tasks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to identify automation opportunities and deliver impactful solutions.
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable code and adhere to best practices in software development.

• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or GoLang
• Strong knowledge of one of the relational databases, e.g. PostgreSQL
• Experience building scalable backend services and working with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools and API-driven integrations.
• Experience working with AI-powered solutions or interest in exploring AI-driven automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: Experience with n8n or similar workflow automation tools.
