Ubiminds is assisting a global rating agency established to restore trust in credit ratings and offer accurate and transparent ratings.

Challenge

The client is looking for an experienced software engineer to join our CMBS applications team.

We offer a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to take on significant responsibilities and develop our next generation systems.

What you'll do

- Integrating new UI/UX components with the existing legacy application

- Understanding and working within the established CICD/DevOps processes

- Mentor and teach other developers on the team

- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

- Initially, the focus will be on developing new UI/UX components to modernize the existing application

- There may also be some work required to maintain or integrate with the legacy system during the transition

- Long-term, the goal is to refresh the technology stack and platform completely

In order to succeed in this position, you will need:

Mandatory skills

- Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Extensive experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.

- Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as Flask.

- Extensive Experience with front-end technologies: Figma/React is a must.

- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Solid understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

- Experienced with mentoring team members in areas of technical domain expertise.

- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for the quality of your work.

Nice to have

- Familiarity with the complex commercial real estate securities domain and data

- Familiarity with Design Systems is a plus.
