Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities: 

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Performing all tasks of the Head of Quality Control according to § 12 AMWHV within the SANDOZ Development Center for inhalation products
  • Review of production and analytical batch documentation
  • Batch release of raw materials, intermediates and finished products for clinical studies, among others
  • Creation, review and approval of specification documents (e.g. specifications, method validation documents, stability products, development reports, etc.)
  • Active project team member in the development of inhalation products for the US and EU market
  • Preparation of submission documents
  • Proactive knowledge sharing within the research groups/departments of the SANDOZ Development Center and other SANDOZ sites
  • Investigation of deviations and out-of-specification results 
  • What you bring with you:

  • BSc, Master's or PhD degree in science or related field
  • At least 5 years of work experience (quality control or quality assurance) in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Good understanding of GMP quality standards and guidelines.
  • Good skills in presentation and scientific writing
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Language skills: fluent in German and English
  • Desirable:

  • Experience in the development of inhalation products
  • Experience in the function of Head of Quality Control according to § 12 AMWHV
