Summary
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Sales Operations Analyst to drive the efficiency and performance of our sales organization. This role will be responsible for providing reporting, data analysis, and key insights that drive revenue growth, as well as supporting the execution of sales planning activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, a deep understanding of sales performance metrics, be passionate about data, process improvement, and driving sales performance through actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Analysis, Reporting and Dashboard Management (35%):
- Act as a primary point of contact for data and reporting queries, providing expert guidance and ensuring timely, high-quality responses that support stakeholders’ needs.
- Design, build and maintain dynamic dashboards and reporting to provide the sales team and leadership with visibility into key performance metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve commercial outcomes based on data insights.
Sales Resourcing and Target Setting (35%):
- Assist in planning and prioritizing resources (sales personnel) across the sales organization.
- Support the creation and tracking of sales targets, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Partner with Sales Managers and Account Managers to identify and resolve discrepancies.
General (30%):
- Respond to ad-hoc queries and analysis requests, providing data and insights.
- Auditing of data for quality through its lifecycle to ensure its accuracy and efficacy for use.
- Documentation of processes and reporting workflows, ensuring consistency, clarity, and continuous improvement within the team.
Knowledge & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a data analysis or reporting role within sales operations or similar business environments.

- Analytical Excellence: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to work with large complex datasets, build impactful dashboards and derive actionable insights.
- Effective Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex data in an easily understandable way to various stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to think critically, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
Operational Excellence
- Organizational Skills: Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to delivering precise, high-quality work.
- Process Improvement: Experience in identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within the sales organization.
Sales Acumen & Collaboration
- Sales Acumen: A solid understanding of the sales process and sales performance metrics, with the ability to align data-driven insights with business strategy to improve performance.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to work cross-functionally, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and manage expectations.
- Requirement Gathering: Proactive in identifying and understanding key stakeholder needs.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modelling.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Some knowledge of advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence and process automation.
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Familiarity with SQL and DAX programming would be an advantage.
