Job Description
Guardant Health is an industry leader in cancer diagnostics, and we are seeking a highly engaged, tech-savvy, and process-driven professional Recruiter with Life Sciences experience. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, HRBPs, and key stakeholders to strategically source, assess, and hire top talent for Guardant Healthcare.
In this role, you will leverage cutting-edge AI, CRM outreach tools, and ATS to streamline the hiring process and identify top talent efficiently. You will ensure a data-driven, high-touch recruitment experience for both internal stakeholders and candidates while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Your ability to adopt and implement new technologies in the recruitment space will be essential to our success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Own the full lifecycle of recruiting, from attracting and sourcing to assessing and hiring talent, working across a variety of roles.

Leverage AI-driven sourcing tools like HireEZ and maximize Workday ATS capabilities to build strong pipelines and improve hiring efficiency.

Partner closely with hiring managers and HRBPs to develop tailored hiring strategies aligned with corporate goals and company culture.

Continuously enhance the hiring process by identifying automation opportunities, improving time-to-fill rates, and optimizing the candidate experience.

Utilize innovative sourcing methods, including social media, employee referrals, passive talent engagement, and industry networking, while minimizing reliance on external agencies.

Coach and train hiring managers on best-in-class recruitment practices, including structured interviews and competency-based assessments.

Track and analyze recruitment metrics to provide transparency and data-driven insights to hiring teams and leadership.

Maintain awareness of industry trends, hiring regulations, and emerging recruitment technologies.
Qualifications

8+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally within the diagnostics, biotech, or life sciences industry.

Experience with AI-driven sourcing tools, CRM outreach platforms, and modern ATS software (preferably HireEZ and Workday).

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage recruitment data and insights to drive decision-making.

Demonstrated ability to build strong candidate pipelines and engage passive talent.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.

Tech-forward mindset with an interest in leveraging new AI and automation tools to enhance recruitment outcomes.

Experience hiring for European (EU) roles is a plus.

Additional Information
Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $83,400 to $133,400. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations for the posted role with the exception of any locations specifically referenced below (if any).
For positions based in Palo Alto, CA or Redwood City, CA, the base salary range for this full-time position is $111,200 to $150,100. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.
Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
