Senior Project Manager IV&V - Payroll
Salary: $100-$165k
Location: Remote 
Sabot Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Manager to help with a new Statewide initiative replacing a SaaS payroll solutions system. The project will replace the current payroll system to resolve several problems and achieve identified opportunities to provide IV&V solutions for the 4th phase of the development lifecycle to our end client. This role will involve managing the end to end IV&V process, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the successful implementation & post go live support of the payroll system.
Responsibilities: 

• Provide Project management and IV&V expertise and support services including collaboration with resources performing departmental assessment and engagement for the payroll replacement SaaS solution.
• Prepare and deliver written Monthly Activity Reports including the background, scope, and purpose of services, activities completed during the report period, work in progress, and a financial summary including budgeted and actual expenses and planned monthly expenditures.
• Conduct risk and issue list reviews.
• Perform requirements traceability matrix analysis.
• Perform system requirements evaluation.
• Conduct system test assessment and verification.
• Identify and document critical work streams necessary to produce an audited published report, including all interdependencies between material departments, and other critical partners.

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or Collegiate Institution
• Valid and current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). 
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience providing IV&V services performing tasks such as: Observing and assessing tools, artifacts, and activities relating to design, development, coding, testing, databases, and project management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• PM level of experience in Microsoft Office applications, MS Project, including Visio.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of broad, extensive and increasingly responsible experience applying Project Management principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least four (4) years of that experience must have been as a Senior Project Manager working on large or complex IT projects. A large IT Project is defined at 50,000 users and an implementation contract value over $10,000,000.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes. At least five (5) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.

Nice to Have:

• Provided IV&V services for a large-scale IT project that was reportable to California Department of Technology.
• Provided IV&V services in all project management phases (i.e., initiation to closing) for a project that implemented a Software as a Service solution.
• Completed IEEE STD 1012 (System and Software Verification and Validation) based training.
• Possess an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification.
