Job Description

Baidu Global Business Team is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. We have built a new AI-powered advertising platform (Demand Side Platform, or DSP) in the market and we are looking to tackle the programmatic industry with a focus on data-driven outcomes, hoping to leverage our 22 years of advertising to power our algorithm. Our advantage is truly our technology, performance and speed to market. This is an opportunity to be on the ground floor of the fastest growing DSP in the market and we are looking for a sales leader to guide our efforts.

  • Bring relationships with performance display advertisers to Baidu MediaGo DSP to help clients drive performance (CPC/CPA/RPS) outcomes
  • Independently build a large pipeline of sales leads (direct response, lead generation, personal finance, insurance, direct-to-consumer etc. ) to drive test IOs for consistent deal flow
  • Work with the Account Management team to effectively manage client expectations, ensure successful campaign delivery and help set the expectation for future potential growth
  • Own the end-to-end pitch process for select upper-funnel advertiser clients
  • Manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments, as well as competitors’ offerings and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in selling digital media with a focus on performance display advertising. Proven track record of successful sales experience specific to programmatic advertising
  • Demonstrated experience of consistently meeting or exceeding target goals, hunting for deals, navigating organizational hierarchies and engaging decision makers to close business
  • Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data and in generated reports
