About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to shape and execute the go-to-market strategies for our mobile game portfolio. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our games, bridging cross-functional teams, and ensuring our marketing efforts are aligned with our product vision and business goals. You will champion product launches, optimize app store visibility, and craft strategies to engage and retain players, all while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
What you'll achieve

  • Develop and Execute Go-to-Market Strategies: Lead comprehensive launch and growth strategies for mobile games, ensuring impactful market entry and sustained success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the hub between game teams and publishing disciplines, working closely with UA, lifecycle marketing, consumer insights, community, and social teams.
  • Audience Insights: Collaborate with researchers and partner teams (e.g. Market Intelligence, or external vendors) to design and oversee qualitative and quantitative market research studies. Identify target audience segments, assess trends, and refine product positioning, leveraging appropriate tools and resources to achieve actionable insights..
  • Artifact Building: Create essential marketing artifacts, such as messaging frameworks, creative briefs, and campaign plans.
  • Brand Marketing Asset Creation: Drive the development of high-impact marketing materials, including app store assets, marquee launch trailers, and game landing page sites.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor and analyze performance metrics across campaigns, app store listings, and user feedback to continually refine strategies.
  • Game Expertise: Build a deep understanding of our games, including their core mechanics, audience, and competitive landscape, to inform marketing strategies.
  • Innovative Solutions: Identify emerging trends and integrate innovative marketing approaches to maintain a competitive edge.

What you'll need to be successful

  • Proven Expertise: 5+ years of product or mobile brand marketing experience within the gaming industry, with a strong focus on mobile games and launching new titles.
  • Strategic Vision: Demonstrated success in creating and executing go-to-market strategies, including audience research, positioning, and cross-functional planning.
  • Data Savviness: Strong analytical skills and experience leveraging data to inform marketing decisions, with familiarity in tools like Appsflyer, Sensor Tower, Data.ai, or similar platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Exceptional ability to collaborate with diverse teams, build consensus, and drive results across marketing, development, and operations.
  • Creative and Business Acumen: Blend of creative thinking and a focus on achieving measurable outcomes, with a keen understanding of monetization strategies and player motivations.
  • Gaming Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for games with the ability to speak the language of gamers and connect authentically with the community.
  • Adaptability and Drive: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proactive approach to problem-solving and an appetite for learning.
  • Excellent Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills to articulate strategies and rally teams around shared goals.
