Job Description
Job Purpose (Job Summary):
Invesco is seeking Senior Product Manager to support the firm’s Private Credit team. The role will primarily focus on supporting business development strategy initiatives for our direct lending, distressed credit and multi-sector private credit offerings. The individual will work closely with fellow members of the CPM/product management team as well as investments, marketing, compliance, operations and other key business support functions.
The role will include helping with product positioning, product research & competitive trends, and support of overall product management initiatives. This individual should have an understanding of private credit markets and concepts. Strong communication and organizational skills are core requirements for the position. The Senior Product Manager must have an intimate knowledge of the investment philosophy and process of each investment product supported. This includes a detailed understanding of current investment themes within the portfolio, knowledge of the portfolio holdings, risk attributes of the strategy, past and current positioning, near-term outlook for the strategy and performance.
Responsibilities will include:
Interact effectively with Invesco’s internal teams:
- Manage and support product marketing collateral suite and quarterly reporting processes
- Assist in crafting responses to RFP/RFI questionnaires
- Collaborate with team members on strategic and ad-hoc projects
- Coordinate other efforts between departments (i.e., marketing, compliance, operations)
Client-related interactions:
- Develop subject matter expertise regarding offerings as well as key investment strategy, team and approach messaging
- Originate and coordinate responses to client inquires related to capital raising and ongoing relationship management
- Prepare client presentations, reporting and marketing materials
- Work with team members to liaise with sales force to ensure timely and high-quality client deliverables
- Participate in thought leadership initiatives including commentaries, whitepapers, and other media
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment
- Strong PC skills (proficiency with Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, eVestment, Peqin and Microsoft Office preferred)
- Understanding of financial market, private credit and fixed income concepts
Work Experience / Education:
- 7-10 years of asset management experience with a focus on research, marketing, data and content management processes
- Series 7 and 63 required within 6 months of employment
The salary range for this position in New York is $150,000 - $170,000 annually. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
