WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
- Perform monthly partner balance reconciliation and participate in period closing (quarterly and yearly) by providing closing period results.
- Reconcile balances across different accounts and sources.
- Conduct delta cross-checking through departments using multiple instruments to verify data across different sources.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of financial transactions across multiple platforms, including bank accounts, payment gateways, and internal systems.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding issues.
- Analyze transaction data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with treasury, business development, technical support teams to improve reconciliation processes and system integrations.
- Develop and implement best practices for reconciliation workflows and controls.
- Assist in audits by providing documentation and explanations as required.
- Utilize automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reconciliation tasks.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in reconciliation, preferably in a fintech or financial services environment
- Strong understanding of payment processing, banking operations, and financial instruments
- Strong Excel skills
- Proven experience in card transaction reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Positive about changes and driven to build strong communication within the team
- Experience with ERP systems and payment gateways is a plus
- Previous experience with Tableau and Power BI would be a plus
- At least an intermediate level of English and fluency in Russian language
