The Senior Partner Enablement Manager is responsible for recruiting and developing channel partners to drive revenue growth. This role involves enabling existing partners, coordinating technical and marketing aspects of partnerships, and hosting business reviews to ensure accountability and success metrics are met.

This role will own both external and internal enablement for the Channels and Alliances team. This will include: creating business-facing content such as First Call Decks, Product Specific materials, and region-specific assets while also collaborating with Datadog's Learning and Development team for internal enablement initiatives - ensuring that team members have a structured onboarding path when joining the C&A team. This individual will design and deliver product and sales training programs to Datadog's Solution Provider Partners. Internally, they will partner closely with the Curriculum team to develop sales training programs and plans, including company sales training manuals and materials.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in partner enablement, program management in client/partner facing roles
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with Partners in SaaS industries on a global scale
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful channel enablement programs at a global scale


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for facilitating effective sales training programs that will improve the performance and productivity of global partner sales teams and/or their customer success teams.
  • Enable existing Datadog partners to optimize their reach by collaborating effectively with Datadog sales to close joint customer pursuits by working closely with first line sales leaders to identify, develop and deliver ad hoc training as needed
  • Shadows partners' sellers to assess effectiveness of enablement programs and identify training gaps
  • Collaborate with curriculum team to give feedback, and pilot new internal programs for Channel and Alliance partner managers


Skills & Abilities:
Proficient in:

  • Designing and delivering product and sales training to a live audience
  • Sales methodologies (i.e. Command of the Message, MEDDICC, etc.)
  • The learning needs/personas/skills of the team that he/she supports (i.e. partner sales)
  • Co-designing and running live workshops to practice skills required for the sales teams (i.e. PG workshops)


Basic understanding of:

  • Datadog foundational product knowledge on 3 pillars (Infra, APM, Logs)
  • Day-in-the-life (responsibilities, challenges, mindset, etc.)) of the sales team that they support
  • Coaching Partner Sales Managers (primarily new-hires) to succeed during their ramp period.

$116,000 - $171,000 USD
