Job Summary:

Designs, implements and operations/maintains the sites or enterprise’s server, storage, database, network, client, or communication infrastructure.

Work is performed without appreciable direction.  Exercised considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.  Effects of decisions are long lasting and heavily influence the future course of the organization.  Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would result in the expenditure of large amounts of company resources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and administers policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the network.
  • Configure, install, deploy, & maintain network equipment to include routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, NAC and SDWAN appliances.
  • Daily availability to include evenings and occasional weekends to reach goals and deadlines.

Skills/Knowledge

  • In-depth knowledge/experience with the following Products/Technologies:
  • Cisco IOS & Meraki, Datacenter ACI, Aruba, Palo Alto Security, Silver Peak SD-WAN, Forescout, ClearPass & VMware
  • Visio, Solarwinds, ServiceNow and Python scripting(helpful)
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication abilities with all levels of management, employees, and customers.
  • Eager to learn and adapt to newest technologies. CCNP level position.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field or minimum 10 years' experience
