About the role
Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a multi-platform social media strategy aligned with business and marketing objectives for each market.
- Tailor content for each platform (Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Twitch, etc.) while ensuring brand consistency.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, emerging platforms, and industry best practices.
Content Development & Management:
- Create, curate, and oversee engaging, high-quality multimedia content.
- Ensure content aligns market/product/brand guidelines.
- Manage the social media editorial calendar, ensuring timely execution of campaigns and content updates.
- Guide internal/external stakeholders to maximize social media initiatives, ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency.
Community Management & Engagement:
- Coach operations team to monitor and respond to customer inquiries, comments, and feedback on social channels in a brand-appropriate, timely, and professional manner.
- Engage with influencers, brand advocates, and partners to foster brand loyalty.
- Manage crisis communications on social media, working closely with PR and operations teams when necessary.
Influencer & Partnership Marketing:
- Collaborate with external agency partners to identify and develop relationships with influencers, thought leaders, partners, and brand ambassadors, ensuring content aligns with brand messaging and compliance standards.
Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to monitor campaign performance, extract insights, and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and showcase ROI.
Required Experience:
This role requires a strategic thinker and storyteller, with great judgment, able to develop a deep understanding of our industry’s nuances, capable of leveraging social media to enhance brand presence and engagement.
- Industry Expertise: 6+ years of proven experience in social media management, for large accounts/companies.
- Ability to align social media strategies with the priorities and business objectives of a large corporation while staying agile, impactful and relevant to audiences; adapting to evolving social media trends and best practices.
- Great judgement, able to evaluate brand safety, sensitive issues, to translate business priorities into engaging, platform-appropriate content that resonates with target audience.
- Creative, strategic thinking: ability to blend creativity with data-driven decision making.
- Analytical Skills: data-driven and Proficient in using data and tools to assess performance metrics, generate reports, and inform strategic decisions.
- Innovation: Skilled at experimenting with new content formats, storytelling techniques and experiences.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling with the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, video/content creators to produce high-quality multimedia assets aligned to best practices.
- Multichannel Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to manage and create content across various social media platforms, tailoring strategies to each channels unique audience and best practices
- Influencer Engagement: knowledgeable on best practices related to influencer marketing and on top of latest trends
- Collaborative Experience: A track record of effectively working with both internal stakeholders and external partners to drive successful social media initiatives, and educate internal teams on best practices.
- Tools: proficiency with social media monitoring/reporting tools, Microsoft Office Suite.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
