Job Summary
We seek a Senior Manager of GTM Compensation Insights to play a pivotal role in shaping our sales compensation strategy and analytics.
As the Senior Manager of GTM Compensation Insights, you will lead a newly established function focused on resolving complex issues and enhancing reporting capabilities. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing analytics deliverables that inform critical business strategies through transformative insights. You will be challenged to gather and analyze data, formulate and test hypotheses, and present your findings through compelling presentations, dashboards, and visualizations.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Compensation Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting Sales or Go to Market (GTM) organizations, with a proven track record of developing and managing compensation strategies that drive performance and align with business objectives. This role requires expertise in data analysis and visualization tools, specifically Power BI and Tableau, as well as experience in data cleansing and aggregation from multiple sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage compensation programs for Sales and GTM teams that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze compensation data and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Utilize Power BI and Tableau to create and maintain dashboards and reports that visualize compensation trends, performance metrics, and other key data points.
- Perform data cleansing and ensure the accuracy and integrity of compensation-related data from various sources.
- Aggregate and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in compensation strategies.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation practices and compliance with industry standards.
- Partner with HR and Finance teams to ensure alignment of compensation programs with overall business goals and budgetary constraints.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees regarding compensation policies, practices, and programs.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to compensation and sales incentives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in compensation management, with a focus on supporting Sales or Go to Market organizations.
- Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
- Strong experience in data cleansing, aggregation, and analysis from multiple sources.
- Familiarity with Sales Compensation systems and practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of compensation regulations and compliance requirements.
