As Senior Manager, Data (Vertical Analytics), you will serve as a strategic business partner to Directors and leaders within the Category Management organization. 

You will ensure data-driven guidance is available to support vertical-oriented decisions in all markets. This role requires identifying key challenges and opportunities by leveraging internal and external data. You will promote analytical literacy and lead the development of Commercial Analytics within the Category Management unit. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 8 analysts forming the Commercial Vertical Analytics team.

  • Drive efficient Vertical Analytics team operations and synthesize insights to provide data-backed recommendations for key category leadership decisions.

  • Monitor and analyze pivotal Vertical KPIs to guide strategic decisions.

  • Initiate exploratory analysis on high-priority KPIs and introduce new analytical techniques.

  • Develop operational and strategic roadmaps for the team, aligning them with business objectives.

  • Manage and prioritize the analytical product backlog in collaboration with vertical leadership and business owners.

  • Mentor and assist analysts in Vertical Analytics to elevate the quality of analytics support.

  • Engage stakeholders, from category leads to analytics teams across other functions.

  • Foster collaboration between Vertical Analytics and Product Analytics teams within Allegro.

What are we looking for

  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, plus 4+ years of managing Business Intelligence/Analytics teams

  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to drive and inspire individuals at all levels

  • Ability to build a successful team and attract top talent in European data analytics and e-commerce

  • Expert knowledge of data management and analysis processes

  • Comprehensive understanding of data-driven e-commerce operations

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business teams in the Commerce organization.

  • Data-driven decision-making, with a highly analytical mindset

  • Proficiency in Excel, business intelligence software, and other relevant analytics tools

  • Strategic thinking and ability to formulate and execute data strategies

  • Excellent top-down communication skills

  • Ability to design and implement robust processes and structures

  • Results-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and resilience

  • Highly collaborative and experienced in operating within multi-functional and multi-national matrix environments

  • Proven ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations using data and intelligence
