Job Description

The Copperleaf Cost team is looking for a full-stack software developer to join us in developing for our Cost application. Copperleaf Cost consists of three tools:

• The Estimate Generator tool allows users to plan out and estimate a project using a combination of C55 assets and/or new assets
• The Cost Capture tool allows administrators to manually import historical project cost data, helping them to identify trends which will be used as the basis for cost models
• The Cost Modelling tool provides a visual representation of each cost model

Qualifications

You are the right candidate, if you have the following experience, but we also recognize that talent comes in many forms, so we’re looking for passion, enthusiasm, and transferrable skills:

• At least 5 years of software development experience
• Developing web-based applications with Node JS, loopback.io or similar
• Web technologies and UIs (Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Kendo UI, RESTful web services)
• Creating relational database schemas and migrating data
• Message broker framework such as RabbitMQ or ZeroMQ
• Source control (git) and the build environment of a large software solution
• Agile Methodology
• An aptitude for understanding the design of large systems and the impact of system changes

And you are able to:

• Be a team player in a dynamic environment
• Understand and communicate complex technical issues
• Focus on product-centric rather than technology-centric development
• Have an eye for detail and it shows in your design, coding and review
• Be self-motivated, flexible, pragmatic, proactive and able to handle a variety of tasks
