What is this position about?

You will be working alongside a talented team of engineers in the private investment banking sector, dedicated to building high-performance, scalable web applications.

In this role, you will design and implement user-friendly applications using modern frameworks and technologies. You will develop and maintain server-side logic, database structures, and APIs while collaborating closely with UX/UI designers to create responsive and visually appealing interfaces.

Additionally, you will optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, troubleshoot and debug to ensure reliability, and stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends to help drive innovation and continuously enhance development practices.

You may work 100% remotely if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can always join us at the office!

Job Description

• Design and implement user-friendly web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Develop and maintain server-side logic, database structures, and APIs.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create responsive and visually appealing interfaces.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks like React, Angular).
• Strong knowledge of back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, etc.) and database management (SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (Docker, CI/CD pipelines).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) – Is a plus!
• Experience with Django and Airflow - Is a plus!

You will need excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team. 

How much experience must I have? 

In order to thrive in this role, you must have at least 5+ years of experience in similar roles.
