JOB DESCRIPTION:Senior Financial Analyst
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Senior Financial analyst in Witney, you will work in a modern, highly automated state of the art facility, participating in the daily operations of the Finance department.
Your responsibilities will include:

Completing and submitting planning schedules for the Annual Plan, Quarterly Latest Best Estimates, and Long Range (5 year) Plans as per the Divisional calendar

You will Business Partner Operations, participating in relevant onsite meetings to understand key operational issues and impact on the Financials. The role includes holding the business accountable for delivering against plans, committed outputs, and results.

You’ll also liaise with the US and multiple teams across the site working on Budgeting and Forecasting including the analysis and forecast of significant levels of spend across multiple areas of the P&L and Balance Sheet with the aim being to present results and obtain commentary for variances from Senior Leadership.

Additionally, you will identify and implement cost savings in indirect spend and conduct timely monthly reviews of relevant balance sheet reconciliations.

You will also share internal and external audit compliance activities with the rest of the Finance team.

You will experience times when you’re working on process improvement initiatives and projects with the support of external systems consultants to achieve quality reporting as well as time and cost efficiencies.

On a more regular basis, you’ll, collaborate with the wider Finance team on the timely completion of month-end tasks

This role will eventually lead to a Supervisory responsibility for the successful candidate
WHY YOU
The ideal candidate will be a highly proactive and passionate about Business partnering, budgeting and forecasting and process improvements, with a solid background in handling large volumes of data and condensing them into executive summaries.
Ideally, the candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant (e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. The candidate must be organised, flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
