As our Senior Financial Analyst of Commercial Solutions, you will work closely with R1 revenue cycle operations and finance teams to complete new customer End to End and Modular pricing assessments. The rapid growth in R1 customer deployments will provide you with the opportunity to apply creative, analytical thinking to solve a wide range of business problems to drive value both for R1 and R1’s customers.
Daily you will collaborate in a highly dynamic and rapidly evolving environment with both internal and customer finance and operational leadership.
To thrive in this role, a successful candidate will have very strong analytical and financial modeling skills, exhibit good business judgment; and be comfortable extracting key financial takeaways while analyzing large complex sets of data and communicating those summary findings to stakeholders.
Here’s what you will experience working as a Senior Financial Analyst:
- Support financial assessments of new customer operations to understand legacy operational cost structures and alignment with R1-contracted services
- Interface directly with new and prospective R1 customer revenue cycle operations and finance teams to develop analytical models of customer key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Synthesize meaningful operational and financial insight through analysis of large complex datasets in conjunction with a detailed understanding of the R1 business model
- Leverage a strong understanding of R1’s business model to identify commercial levers to implement value creation opportunities and win-win revenue outcomes for R1 and R1’s customers
- Provide ad-hoc analytical information to operations and business teams in real time to support strategic decision making
- Engage with the R1 finance and operations team to support new customer budgeting and forecasting and lead the transition of KPI scorecard from the Baseline stage to "steady state” and financialization
- Represent R1 with integrity and a positive, collaborative attitude with customers at all times
Required Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a similar discipline with minimum of 3+ years in corporate or operational finance, analytics or a similar consulting role
- Ability to work efficiently on the fly to support multiple operational leaders and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and fluid environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling and analytical skills
- Ability to convey and communicate effectively about the story the data is telling
- Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred and Microsoft Access is a plus
- Strong personal accountability and ability to find creative solutions to challenging problems
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles and concepts
- Knowledge of healthcare finance or revenue cycle management, preferred
- Track record of experience in a customer-facing role a plus
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $59,282.00 - $110,424.03 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
