White Pine Innovations is seeking a full-time Senior Financial Analyst to support our Department of Defense client in the National Capital Region (NCR).  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor data within Financial System, identifying and reporting discrepancies.
  • Provide training on Financial System integration and client-specific processes.
  • Support development of training materials and role-based user training.
  • Create reports and templates using OBIEE for client’s users.
  • Assist with Order to Cash (O2C) and Accounts Receivable processes.  
  • Support payroll reconciliation within DCPS-IN.  
  • Assist with Core Financials processes (travel, purchase cards, MIPRs, contracts).  
  • Support Year-End Closeout and Fiscal Year setup.  
  • Assist in tracking and reconciling orders and spending transactions.  
  • Assist with monthly budget reviews and report preparation.  
  • Support accounting tasks, such as funds balances and NULOs (negative unliquidated obligations).  
  • Assist in analyzing contracts and resolving disbursing issues.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Due to the nature of the contract, a US. citizenship is required.
  • 6 years of full-time experience (including internships) providing financial management related services.
  • Bachelor’s degree discipline:  Accounting, Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Administration or other related business, scientific or technical discipline.
  • Unless otherwise noted, education and experience may be substituted on a 1:1 basis.
