Job Description

What you will do:

• Initiate approaches and low-cost innovations to maintain technical leadership.
• Build mockups and prototypes to help refine and communicate product ideas.
• Design, develop, and deploy web applications to test market and product assumptions.
• Build production-ready applications for client engagements.
• Write elegant, well-documented code.
• Create good libraries for customers to use in their integrations.
• Identify and keep abreast of novel technical concepts and markets.
• Utilize the following tools/technologies: Python/Go, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway and REST APIs.
• Position allows working from home anywhere in the United States.
• Headquarters located at 1235 Saint Thomas St., Suite 201, New Orleans, LA 70130.
  

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

• The qualified candidate must have at least a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related field.
• The qualified candidate must have at least 2 years (24 months) of experience in a software engineering position, or closely related occupation.
• The qualified candidate must have at least 2 years (24 months) of experience with all the following: (a) designing/developing test architecture and unit tests and running tests utilizing technical tools; (b) testing, maintaining, and developing software and web applications; (c) writing well-documented code;
• and (d) utilizing the following tools/technologies: Python/Go, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway and REST APIs.
• All experience may be gained concurrently
