Join the Asia Data Office as a Senior Data Architect to spearhead innovative data solutions and foster a data-driven culture across our regional partners. This role is crucial for those passionate about data, innovation, and emerging technologies, particularly in Generative AI, Master Data Management, and Customer Data Platforms.

We are looking for someone with:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Proven experience as a Data Solution Architect or similar roles.
• Over 5 years in Data Architecture, Modeling, Engineering, or Database Administration.
• Skilled in data modeling for medium to large systems and familiar with industry standards (e.g., ACORD).
• Proficient in data platform technologies and security practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data management tools.
• Ability to align software/platform/infrastructure architecture with business strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrates core skills and introduces innovation in technical disciplines.
  • Strategic alignment of actions with long-term goals.
  • Understands corporate culture and climate.

You will stand out if you have:

• ITIL certification and recognized Service Management qualifications are advantageous.
• Project management experience is beneficial.
• Insight into the insurance and/or financial sectors is a plus.

On the job you will:

Architectural Design and Implementation:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure data architectures.
• Address architectural issues and provide robust solutions using industry best practices.
• Facilitate data flow throughout the organization.

Data Management and Integration:

• Develop and maintain component data architectures.
• Create templates and complex solution components for software and platform engineers.

Application Architecture:

• Design application architectures and troubleshoot issues with component architectures.

Generative AI Applications:

• Integrate and manage Generative AI applications to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities.
• Experiment with emerging AI technologies and assess their impact on data architecture.
• Innovate with AI-driven solutions to improve business processes and decision-making.

Master Data Management (MDM):

• Implement and oversee Master Data Management strategies to ensure data consistency and accuracy across the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define MDM policies and procedures.
• Utilize MDM to drive data governance and improve data quality.

Customer Data Platform (CDP):

• Design and implement a Customer Data Platform to centralize and manage customer data.
• Ensure the CDP aligns with business objectives and enhances customer insights.
• Leverage CDP to personalize customer interactions and drive engagement.

Team Collaboration:

• Guide teams towards common objectives, providing leadership and mentorship in data architecture and security.

Innovation and Learning:

• Explore emerging technologies and assess their potential impact.

• Learn continuously from both successes and failures.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Document data architecture designs, security policies, and procedures.

• Report on data solutions and security effectiveness to senior management.
