Our Chicago HR team is searching for a Senior Compensation Manager to join the Compensation team and play a key role in supporting IMC's future growth. Working closely with the Head of Compensation, you will lead benchmarking, job evaluation, and year-end compensation processes. As a member of the global compensation team, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with leaders and internal clients across our global locations to design compensation programs that are market-competitive, compliant with local regulations, and aligned with our global rewards strategy.
Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead key workstreams in the annual compensation process while acting as a trusted advisor to compensation planners.
  • Oversee compensation for a designated global region and act as a subject matter expert to drive key projects and initiatives in a country or region.
  • Be a strategic partner to the Human Resources, Finance, and HRIS/Workday teams to enhance compensation-related workflows, processes, and analysis.
  • Engage in benchmarking analyses and survey submission processes.
  • Collaborate with leaders to design and revise compensation programs, policies, and processes.
  • Play an integral role in promoting fair and consistent pay practices in alignment with company values and regulatory requirements.


Your Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of compensation-related experience
  • Experience working with job evaluation, survey matching, and compensation benchmarking analyses
  • Experience working with the compensation module within Workday
  • Experience working in a global environment is a plus
  • Strong analytical and Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to interpret, analyze, and visualize data and trends
  • Demonstrated ability to improve and streamline processes and continuously improve how we deliver collateral to our key stakeholders
  • Compensation administration tool experience (e.g., PayFactors, Salary.com)
  • Certified Compensation Professional Certification is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required

The Base Salary range for the role is included below. Base salary is only one component of total compensation; all full-time, permanent positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits, including paid leave and insurance.
