The Senior Cloud Solutions Architect will lead the design, development, and optimization of SharePoint Online, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Power BI solutions. This role is responsible for architecting, integrating, and automating SharePoint-based enterprise solutions while supporting Azure and cloud development.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and enterprise application development.
- Expertise in Azure (Function Apps, Logic Apps, DevOps, API Management, Power BI) and AWS infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, PowerShell, SQL, and API development.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and cloud automation.
- Experience architecting and optimizing SharePoint Online solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance frameworks, and IAM policies.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop innovative cloud solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating AI/ML services.
- Hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure & AWS).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Prior experience in pharma, healthcare, or regulated industries is a plus
Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability
SharePoint Online Architecture & Development
- Lead the architecture, customization, and administration of SharePoint Online, ensuring it meets enterprise needs.
- Design and develop SharePoint-based solutions, including custom lists, libraries, workflows, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
- Manage SharePoint permissions, governance policies, and security groups.
- Optimize SharePoint performance, ensuring scalability, compliance, and efficient data storage.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather SharePoint requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and drive implementation.
- Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise applications such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Azure services.
Azure & Cloud Development
- Develop and maintain Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, and API-driven integrations to support enterprise automation.
- Work with IT teams to streamline and automate Azure deployments using PowerShell, Azure DevOps repositories, and Azure Synapse pipelines.
- Assist in optimizing Azure data architecture, ensuring efficient organization and resource management.
- Identify and evaluate Azure architectural needs, aligning them with business goals.
Power BI Administration & Data Governance
- Administer and optimize Power BI workspaces, ensuring proper access controls and security settings.
- Develop and manage Power BI integrations with SharePoint, Azure, and external data sources.
- Work with business units to develop data visualization strategies using Power BI dashboards and reports.
AWS Infrastructure & Integration
- Manage AWS-based workloads, cloud networking, and storage solutions in conjunction with Azure resources.
- Assist in cloud automation, monitoring, and performance optimization across multi-cloud environments.
Collaboration & Technical Leadership
- Serve as the primary SharePoint and cloud architecture expert, guiding teams in best practices.
- Work closely with business users, IT teams, and developers to design and implement enterprise cloud solutions.
- Lead technical discussions, present solution designs, and provide documentation for development teams.
- Keep up with emerging SharePoint, Azure, and cloud trends, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
The typical base pay range for this role is USD $127,900 - $213,300 per year.
Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, skills and other market-based factors.
