SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
In this role you will administer and execute the accounts payable transactions through timely and accurate processing, matching, coding and updating into relevant systems in accordance with company policy and procedures in order to provide regular, up-to-date, and accurate information on status or deviations.
This position is based in Cairo, Egypt and reporting to Payables Manager within our Finance team.
Responsibilities:

Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded and effective internal control are in place.

Handle all supplier invoices for local and overseas vendors by preparing, checking, verifying and posting to ensure compliance with payment agreed-on terms.

Assist and comply with all VAT regulations and different kinds of taxes as per local requirements if required.

Aware of inventory financial cycle and costing procedures and implementation.

Liaise and coordinate with both internal and external parties like auditors to meet audit requirements and adhere to local rules and regulations.

What We Look For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any Finance related field
- 4-6 years of experience is required
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools and is a user of a ERP system
- Fluent in English and Arabic
