About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Security Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems and data assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents.
What you’ll do as a Security Engineer
- Work with the Corporate Technology and Security team to design, implementation, and maintenance of information security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption systems, and endpoint security solutions.
- Perform security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
- Maintain security policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle and infrastructure projects.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Investigate security alerts and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest information security trends, technologies, and threats.
- Respond to service requests relating to system access and software/hardware issues.

Nice to haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, related field or relevant job experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in system administration, security operations, security engineering or information security.
- Technical certifications in IT or Security related field
- Computer Science background with understanding of automation
- Industry certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM etc.
- Experience with relevant security regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 1, SOC 2).
- Participated in tabletop exercises to test incident response readiness.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills
