Job Description:Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.Qualifications:

Scrum Master:
• Facilitate Team DSU’s, Retrospectives, Sprint planning meetings, etc.
• Assists Product Owner with product backlog, when needed
• Assists with removing Impediments/obstacles
• Act as a liaison between the team, stakeholders, and other Scrum Masters to ensure that the team’s efforts are aligned
• Pulling impacted Tech Leads, PO’s, TA’s, Business (if/when applicable) together to collaborate and design solution keeping in mind reusability in the future
• Coordinate Delivery Sync with all impacted PO’s and Business partners to close out any open questions on business requirements
• Coordination of dependencies
• Manage and Communicate Risks (Timelines, Impediments, etc.)
• Coordinate, Create and Maintain Detailed initiative timeline for all impacted areas. Aligning all to a specific implementation date
• Facilitate meetings
• Bi-Weekly Readouts and/or Status updates
• Reporting/Metrics
• Assist with SDLC
• Communicate reminders concerning Release Management dates – soft freeze, hard freeze, etc., for all Quarterly releases and off quarter releases.
· Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· Excellent team collaboration skills, including experience in dealing with multiple projects impacting different processes, multi-functional teams, and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization environment.
· Strong relationship building and maintaining skills. Fosters a climate conducive to establishing positive working relationships with clients (internal and external).
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, JIRA, and JiraAlign
• Understanding of change management
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills
• In-depth Annuity business and/or technical knowledge preferred but not mandatory.
Mandatory certification: CSM/PSM/SSM
Good to have certification: SAFe SM or SAFe Agilist or SAFe POPM
