As an Senior SAP SCM BSA at MKS Instruments, you will partner with Enhancements and Support team to work on the IT enhancements and Requests. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Manager IT Enhancements Delivery
You Will Make an Impact By:
The purpose of this position is to work as part of a global IT business applications team providing internal consulting for SAP and related supply chain applications. MKS uses the following SAP SCM modules: SD, MM, WM, PP, QM, PM, Fiori, IBP, APO, Ariba, as well as interfaces to other SCM related applications
The SAP SCM Consultant is responsible for requirements gathering, clarification and evaluation, solution design, configuration, data mapping/testing, documentation, training, problem resolution and 3rd level help desk support. The position will be co-responsible for initiating, executing, and/or managing Change Requests with relation to Portfolio Demand Management processes.
The successful candidate will have very strong SAP SCM experience in at least two of the following SAP modules: SAP MM, SAP QM, SAP PP with a good understanding of other SAP associated supply chain applications and integration to FI and controlling. Know-how of SAP ABAP is a clear plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with other global teams resources are required. The expected end result is the successful delivery of documented SAP solutions and maintenance of the business supply chain systems with focus on ROI and internal efficiency.
Experience in conceptualizing and implementing IT-platforms in the respective
area.
Ability to travel locally and internationally up to a maximum of 25% is required.
As part of the global team, certain ability of flexible working hours is expected

Acting as in-house consultant in the area of SAP SCM processes to define SAP solutions and deliver on-time change requests and enhancements, to work with external support to ensure smooth operations.
Build trustful partnership with business stakeholders, support requirements gathering and clarification processes.
Provide 3rd level support for SAP application functionalities in cooperation with the external support partner company (?).
Perform other related duties that may be assigned or associated with the responsibility of the position.
Preferred Skills: (Optional)
Hiring Manager to include three (3) three to six (6) bullet points that describe the nice to haves•
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- At least 3-4 years of SAP configuration in SAP SCM modules (MM, QM, PP) and experience in SAP implementations, upgrades and/or support
- Good know how of integration configuration to SAP Finance and Sales
- Know how of underlying end-to-end business processes as P2P, O2C, Procure2Produce
- Knowledge of configuration in other SAP modules as a plus
- Ability to read and de-bug ABAP programs incl. exits and enhancements – as a plus.
- A proven track record of accomplishments and strong interpersonal skills are required
Fluent English is a MUST.
