Candidates must be currently residing in Tempe, AZ, as this role requires at least 50% in-office work. Applicants not based in Tempe will not be considered.
Mission and Goals
- Support the IT Business Applications Services team in enhancing user experience and community engagement within Salesforce Experience Cloud.
- Gain hands-on experience in Salesforce Sales/Experience Cloud, contributing to real-world projects that integrate with the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Develop technical and analytical skills while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Objectives
- Assist in the design, development, and customization of Salesforce Experience Cloud sites.
- Configure page layouts, components, permissions, and security settings.
- Support integrations with external applications and APIs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to Experience Cloud.
- Collaborate with developers, admins, and business analysts to optimize community portals.
- Conduct testing and documentation to ensure high-quality deployments.
- Research and suggest best practices for enhancing community engagement and UI/UX improvements.
Competencies
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Lightning components.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) is a plus.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Apex (preferred but not required).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for learning and eager to grow within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Administrator (ADM-201) or Experience Cloud certification.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and Reports/Dashboards.
