About the Role
Magna Powertrain is a premier supplier for the global automotive industry with full capabilities in powertrain design, development, testing and manufacturing. Offering complete system integration sets us apart from our competitors. An operating group of Magna International, Magna Powertrain is headquartered in Troy, Michigan with 50 plus locations globally.
Magna provides promising undergraduate students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain practical work experience in their area of discipline related to the automotive industry. This position will work with the global Sales team on tracking metrics, updating files, and communicating with various locations within the organization. There will be opportunities to work cross functionally within the organization
Your Responsibilities
- Running and understanding reports dealing with specific OEM's
- Work alongside Account Managers to help prepare reports.
- Assist in Prototype and Production Purchase Orders.
- Assist in tracking and receiving Request for Quotes
- Understanding, sorting, and storing various Sales Documents
- Assist in preparing presentations for customer meetings.
- Assisting Account Managers and Sales Coordinator with any tasks as assigned
Who we are looking for
- Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
- Enrolled in an engineering program with an accredited school.
Your preferred qualifications
- Understand the basics of engineering theory and principles of design
- Knowledge in computer based software, including 3D CAD, strong organizational/communication skills, ability to work with others in a team environment
