The Team You Will Join
The Sales Support Department in Nicosia, Cyprus, reports to the Marketing/Communication & Sales Support Manager. Sales Support team is tasked to maintaining the relationship between MetLife and Sales Force. More specifically, all economic, legal and compliance aspects of the sales force including the sales quality control unit, are under the adherence of the department. Responsibilities include calculating agents' compensations and bonuses, drafting contracts, developing sales contests, organizing the Annual Sales Conference and the Annual Awards Night, and regularly reporting new sales on a weekly, monthly and year end basis. The team also oversees the contractual obligations for the agents and comprehensively manage all related aspects. Additionally, it also gathers, organizes, and analyses extensive datasets to provide insights and support decision-making within the organization.

The Sales Data Analyst is responsible for providing critical data insights and supporting decision-making processes across the organization. This position is needed to enhance the company's ability to understand and act on sales trends, ultimately contributing to the overall success of MetLife. The Sales Data Analyst is responsible for creating regular reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses to support the sales team and management. You'll collaborate closely with the Marketing & Sales Support Manager, the Sales Team, and other relevant stakeholders in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

  • Lead the analysis of data and creation of regular weekly/monthly/yearly reports to communicate sales trends and other KPIs to management, to the sales team and the sales representatives.
  • Create dashboards and automated reports to monitor key performance indicators.
  • Oversee the preparation of presentation materials that incorporate actionable information and insights to support the decision-making process.
  • Manage the gathering and analysis of data to understand issues, and address them proactively regarding sales performance discrepancies.
  • Develop custom reporting based on other business analysis needs, including ad-hoc reporting.
  • Coordinate contributions to the development of sales plans and objectives.


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or other relevant area. This educational background is essential for understanding and analysing complex datasets.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint): This proficiency is crucial for creating reports and presentation materials to communicate findings effectively.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (Power Query and Power Pivot, Data Modelling, DAX, Cube formulas): This skill is necessary for developing detailed and accurate data models and analyses.
  • Experience in working with Power BI: This experience is important for creating dashboards and automated reports to monitor key performance indicators.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (Greek and English), ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Comfortable working in teams but with the ability to work independently.
  • Detailed and organized individual with excellent critical thinking, with a particular focus on accuracy and attention to detail.


What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)

  • 2+ years of experience as a data analyst or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python).
  • Ability to manage time effectively and balance multiple, changing priorities while adhering to deadlines.
