Ziegler Ag has an opening for an Administrative Assistant who will provide administrative support to the Sales Management Team and support inventory maintenance, reporting, sales processing, and tracking. This is not a remote position. Individual will sit on-site at our Altoona, Iowa location.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with booking of travel arrangements and training events
  • Facilitate New employee onboarding
  • Answers phones into the Ag Sales line as needed
  • Maintain Ag Division Information for central documentation control
  • Maintain Ag Division Information on Z-net and other central documents
  • Works in cooperation with the Business Administration Manager to support processing and transacting sales billings
  • Works in a cooperative manner with peers and superiors
  • Facilitate and manage short-term Divisional projects
  • Other related duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2 or 4 year Degree strongly preferred; high school diploma required
  • 1-3+ years customer service experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Basic phone skills (able to provide a pleasant customer experience)
  • Personal Attributes: Attention to Detail, Commitment / Dependability, Efficiency, Planning and Organization, Self-starter, Teamwork

Minimum Physical Requirements:

  • Talking, hearing, use of hands
  • Working Conditions are primarily indoor. Noise level may be moderate at times.

The pay range for this position is

$22.83 to $27.36

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
