Job Description

Albemarle is hiring for a RTP Quality & Control Analyst - Spanish speaker. This position is hybrid and located in Budapest.
 

The Quality and Control Analyst handles independently all types of invoices and financial documents timely and accurately which relates to RTP scope, with identifying exceptional vendors and following the appropriate processes.

He/She is able to work in accordance with compliance and audit requirements and recognize possible compliance and audit failures.

He/She has a deep understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, and he/she is gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. He / She has also good communication skills to arrange and deal with actions with internal stakeholders.

Beside of the day-to-day routine accounting activities along with complex cases and able to support continuous improvement activities with his/her own ideas, initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure a timely and accurate support of internal and external audit process
  • Ensure a timely and accurate operational rhythm of Quality and Control team
  • Ensure a timely and accurate SOX control performance
  • Analyse, clean and maintain GRIR account balances for the assigned LE-s and ensure reaching the yearly target
  • Analyse, clean and maintain Trade Payables balances for the assigned LE-s and ensure reaching the yearly target
  • Respect and keep compliance and audit procedures and aid upon audit or managerial request
  • Proactively seeking operational control points for RTP to ensure best in class service to our partners
  • Proactively raise process gaps to RTP team leaders and RTP Manager
  • Support special business processes, such as payment proposal reviews and local finance reporting
  • Support and active participation in continuous improvement and LEAN activities within the department
  • Full responsibility in managing key vendor accounts under his/her supervision
  • Act and support the team members like a senior expert within the department, especially in audit, SOX, GRIR, Trade Payables and RTP control points
  • He/ She acts as single point of contact from RTP audits and SOX control perspective within the company
  • Create, test and run reports to ensure that the Source to Pay Department works in accordance with the compliance and audit requirements and recognizes possible compliance failures

What You Bring

Required:

  • College or university degree preferably in finance/accountancy
  • Min. 2 years in the relevant field (RTP/ AP, accounting or finance)
  • Advanced communication level in English AND Spanish (both written and verbal)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Having deep understanding of RTP and account reconciliation processes
  • Logical thinking and pay attention to the details under pressure as well
  • High tolerance for monotony
  • Accuracy and attention to details
  • Strong drive for action, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good time-manager and be able to organize his/her day-to-day tasks
  • Supportive and assertive attitude
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Complete competencies check within probation period (min. 85%)
